March was a month filled with excitement and memorable events at GDS Wealth Management, and we are thrilled to share some of the highlights with you.
Webinar Series Completed, Watch the Recording if You Missed It!
We successfully wrapped up our Lockheed webinar series this month. The series was designed to help attendees make the most of their financial benefits and retirement plans. Throughout the series, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS™ from GDS provided insights into maximizing savings, understanding stock options, managing deferred compensation, and exploring retiree healthcare options.
If you missed any of the sessions, don't worry! You can catch up by watching the recording of session 1 on YouTube. Sessions 2 and 3 will be available soon, so subscribe to our YouTube channel for updates.
Glen and Family at the CDA Gala
GDS was the presenting sponsor at Coram Deo Academy’s 2025 Cor Leonis (Heart of the Lion) Gala this month. Our CEO/CIO, Glen Smith, along with his wife Gisella Smith and their children Nathalia and Lucas, proudly represented GDS Wealth Management at this prestigious event. The evening was a splendid affair, filled with elegance, networking, and celebration, all benefiting Coram Deo Academy. Their mission is to train ethical servant-leaders and wise thinkers who will shape culture for the glory of God. It was truly a night to remember, and we are proud to support such a noble cause.
‘GDS Unplugged’ Podcast Launch
We are thrilled to announce that we have filmed the first few episodes of our new podcast, GDS Unplugged, which aims to break down complex financial topics to help you make informed decisions about your money. The podcast is hosted by our co-founders, Glen Smith and Robert Casey, who bring their expertise and engaging personalities to each episode. The first episode is now available, and you can watch or listen to it on your favorite podcast platforms.
Sourdough Workshops
In March, we hosted not one but two sourdough workshops for our clients on-site at GDS! These workshops were a hit, bringing together all levels of baking enthusiasts to learn the art of sourdough bread making. Participants had the opportunity to get hands-on experience, share tips, and enjoy the delicious results of their hard work. We look forward to hosting more culinary events in the future.
