Jason Freeby, ChFC®

Jason believes every financial plan begins with understanding each client’s goals, priorities, and circumstances. He works with individuals, families, and business owners to create financial plans that reflect what matters most to them.  

Before joining GDS Wealth Management, Jason served for 31 years in the United States Marine Corps, retiring as a Colonel. Throughout his military career, he led people and managed resources in a variety of roles, including an assignment at the Pentagon overseeing defense budget resources. After retiring from the Marine Corps, he began his financial services career with Raymond James Financial Services before joining GDS Wealth Management. His background in military leadership and financial services shapes the perspective he brings to helping clients prepare for the future.  

Jason holds the Chartered Financial Consultant® designation, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Texas A&M University and later earned a master’s degree in business administration from the Naval Postgraduate School. 

Originally from Houston, Texas, Jason lives in Argyle with his wife, their three children, and their goldendoodle, Tucker. He enjoys traveling and has visited more than 50 countries, including more than 25 with his family. After years of living throughout the United States and abroad, he appreciates the close-knit community of Argyle and enjoys exploring Texas with his family.
