Luis Perez

Luis, Chief Operating Officer at GDS Wealth Management, works across departments to strengthen the systems, processes, and strategic initiatives that support the firm’s continued growth. In his role, he helps turn vision into execution by creating operational efficiencies, improving coordination, and ensuring the firm’s internal structure supports both advisors and the client experience.

Luis earned his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida and has spent his career in the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) space. With nearly a decade of experience in financial services, including time with multiple RIAs, he brings a practical understanding of the discipline, accountability, and long-term focus required to support a growing advisory firm. He is motivated by the RIA industry’s fiduciary commitment to helping clients work toward a stronger financial future and values GDS’s emphasis on thoughtful planning, integrity, and lasting impact.

Outside of work, Luis enjoys exploring great restaurants, playing chess, and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Ruthie, have two young sons, Zebulon and Zion. He loves hands-on creative projects and has especially enjoyed building rockets with his older son.
