With more than a decade of experience in financial services, Robert uses his comprehensive knowledge to develop custom wealth management strategies for the families and individuals he serves. A love of helping others, instilled in him from a young age, has carried over to his career as he seeks to increase clients’ financial confidence and help them make investment decisions that align with their long-term goals and risk tolerance.

As a financial planner, Robert emphasizes that the clients are the heart of GDS Wealth Management. He strives to foster relationships with clients that are based on connections, rather than transactions, and he puts the clients and their wants and needs first as he works alongside them to create financial plans that reflect their best interests.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist. Robert is also a member of the Dave Ramsey SmartVestor Program and adheres to the SmartVestor Code of Conduct. These certifications and memberships enable Robert to better serve clients and help them reach their financial goals.

Robert lives in Flower Mound with his wife, Lauren, and their children, Grayson and Beckham. Robert enjoys spending his free time with his family; he and his sons love doing jiu-jitsu together, building Legos, and riding their bikes. The Caseys are also actively involved with RockPointe Church, where Robert is an active member and volunteer. As the son of a Southern Baptist pastor, Robert recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and strives to live out that commitment through the work he does, both in and out of the office.

The Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors, developed by SHOOK Research, is based on an algorithm of qualitative criteria, mostly gained through telephone and in-person due diligence interviews, and quantitative data. Those advisors that are considered have a minimum of seven years of experience, and the algorithm weights factors like revenue trends, assets under management, compliance records, industry experience and those that encompass best practices in their practices and approach to working with clients.
