Tim graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Chinese language and literature and a minor in business. After graduating, he moved to China, where he lived for four years while coaching and playing tennis. Since then, Tim has spent over a decade working in the business world, and is excited to provide personalized financial strategies to the families and individuals he serves.

Tim recognizes and appreciates the value of having a financial planner that you can trust; in fact, he and his wife were GDS Wealth Management clients for nearly a decade before Tim joined the GDS team. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Tim works diligently to ensure that each client receives a financial plan that reflects their best interests.

Tim and his wife, Fei Fei, have two children – TJ and Joey. The family also has a German Shepherd/Akita mix that only responds to commands in Chinese. In his free time, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and visiting local attractions like the zoo and aquarium. If Tim is not working or with his family, you can usually find him playing racquet sports – tennis, pickleball, ping pong, and padel. He is undefeated in tennis against GDS CEO and CIO, Glen Smith.
