Joan Doan

Joan Doan is the Marketing Director at GDS Wealth Management, where she leads strategic marketing and communications efforts to share the firm’s message and values. She is passionate about telling the GDS story in a clear, thoughtful way that reflects the firm’s client-first values.  

Before joining GDS, Joan served as Senior Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Trinity Broadcasting Network. With more than 15 years of experience in television production, she has produced interviews, events, and promotional content, driven by a passion for creating meaningful stories that resonate with audiences. Her background in faith-based media and communications has shaped her mission-driven, communications-focused approach.  

Joan lives in Texas with her husband and their two sons, who are active in basketball and football. Her husband is the varsity basketball coach at Liberty Christian School. The family enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and exploring new restaurants together. Joan is also an avid runner and has completed several half marathons. Prior to relocating to Texas three years ago, she spent 30 years in Miami, Florida.
